A shield for use with a cup is disclosed and comprises a tubular member having first and second open ends, the first end, in use, being disposed in close-fitting relation within the open end of said cup and the second end, in use, projecting out of said cup. The tubular member can have at least two axes for permitting said tubular member to fold into a flattened condition and can be constructed out of a compostable material, sheet material secured upon itself, recyclable plastic material or biodegradable material. The tubular member can be dimensioned such that, in normal use, the portion thereof projecting out of the cup captures substantially all of the splatter produced in the creation of a blended soft serve product.
La présente invention concerne un capot protecteur utilisable avec un bol et comprenant un élément tubulaire comportant une première et une seconde extrémité ouverte, la première extrémité étant disposée, lors de l'utilisation, de façon à être étroitement emboîtée à l'intérieur de l'extrémité ouverte dudit bol et la seconde extrémité faisant saillie, lors de l'utilisation, hors dudit bol. L'élément tubulaire peut comporter au moins deux axes lui permettant d'être replié sous une forme aplatie et il peut être constitué d'un matériau compostable, d'un matériau en nappe fixé sur ledit élément tubulaire, d'un matériau en plastique recyclable ou d'un matériau biodégradable. L'élément tubulaire peut être dimensionné de façon à ce que, lors d'une utilisation normale, la partie de celui-ci faisant saillie hors du bol emprisonne pratiquement toutes les éclaboussures générées lors de la production d'un produit mixé de texture molle prêt à servir.
