The invention relates to a shielded connector which comprises a cable (60) having at least one core (63) and a shield mesh (62), a contact support (11) in which at least one contact element (13) is provided that receives the stripped end of the at least one core (63) of the cable, and a shield (40) for the at least one core, said shield (40) having a fastening zone (49) to which the shield mesh (62) of the cable (60) is fastened. The invention is characterized in that the shield mesh (62) is fastened to the exterior of the shield.
