Le conducteur (1) comprend au moins un tronçon usiné en forme de solénoïde préférablement associé à au moins un condensateur et à un revêtement semi-conducteur pour restreindre les fronts raides très hautes fréquences qui se propagent sur la barre lors des manoeuvres de fermeture ou d'ouverture de sectionneurs dans le poste électrique.
