A SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY Abstract of the Disclosure This invention relates to a shift lever assembly for chang- ing the speed of a power take-off shaft of a tractor. The assem- bly comprises a movable rod positioned between two different speed positions having a neutral position therebetween. The rod has abutment means secured to it so that the rod can be moved in a linear direction between the speed positions and the neutral position but wherein the rod is blocked from linear movement at the neutral position unless it is rotated.
