ABSTRACT The ship-born installation for launching, towing and recovery aboard an immersed body, comprises a platform carrying a winch at its posterior end for operating a cable running on an idle pulley mounted on a frame placed at front of the platform and a front-to-rear translation motion of which is obtained with assistance of a double action actuator used at a same time as anti-pitch dampeners. The platform is also provided with a pivoting arm carrying at a free end an idle pulley having an axis on which is mounted a cradle for maintaining horizontal a fish during translation motions for launching and recovery on board of the fish.
