Shock absorber for suspension on motor vehicles or bikes and impact absorber for bumper on motor vehicles to absorb impact in collision are provided to operate by mechanical means, when the absorber hits a bump or impact, the energy drives the moveable parts of the absorber to cause an increase of air pressure and vacuum respectively in the two isolated adjacent compartments inside its hollow cylindrical body. The increase of air pressure and vacuum are both directly proportional to the bump or impact energized to the absorber. The increased air pressure and vacuum act as buffer material producing damping effect when it acts as a shock absorber and impact absorbing effect when it acts as an impact absorber.
