A shock sensor (300) comprising: a reed switch (310) which has a reed contact part which switches over from a first state to a second state under the influence of magnetism; a magnet (315) which is fixed in the main casing with a specified distance from the reed switch; a shield member which has an area as large as sufficient to prevent magnetism from the magnet from affecting the reed contact part when arranged at a regular position; and an resilient member (323) which keeps, in a normal state, the shield member at the regular position between the reed contact part and the magnet at which the reed contact part is kept in the first state and which holds the shield member so that, when a shock as applied to the shock sensor, the shield member can move to a position at which the shield member makes the reed contact part change over to the second state.
