Disclosed is a brake shoe of a shoe brake, in which a lateral shield (21) removably connects a brake element (20) to the brake shoe (7). Said lateral shield (21) is joined to a base plate (20.1) by means of screws (20.3) that fit into threaded holes of the base plate (20.1). The lateral shield (21) is provided with an elongate slot (21.1) which is penetrated by a screw (7.7) that fits into a threaded hole of the brake shoe (7). The elongate slot (21.1) makes it possible to adjust the brake element (20) relative to the brake shoe (7), thus allowing the brake lining (7.4) to be adjusted to the brake drum (4).
Dans une mâchoire de frein d'un frein à mâchoires, une plaque latérale (21) relie un élément de freinage (20) à la mâchoire de frein (7) de manière amovible.
