36 ABSTRACT The present invention relates to the structure of shoe's heel, and more particularly, to a shoe which assures that a lift of the shoe can easily and simply be exchanged with a new one. Hook-shaped engagement projections 6 are caused to stand upright on the upper surface of the lift, while an engagement plate 8 is secured to the lower end surface of a heel. Engagement holes 13 are formed on the engagement plate 8 so as to allow the hook-shaped engagement projections 6 to be engaged with the engagement holes 13 by displacement of the lift relative to the heel. When the hook-shaped engagement projections 6 are engaged with the engagement plate 8, the lift and the heel are firmly assembled together while preventing the lift from being disconnected from the heel in the vertical direction. A locking pin 11 adapted to be normally biased in the direction of approaching toward the lift is received in a pin hole which extends through the heel and the lift in the vertical direction. Once the lift is secured to the heel, the locking pin 11 prevents the lift from being displaced relative to the heel in the horizontal direction.
