SHOE INSERT Abstract of the Disclosure An improved cushioned insert or footbed for a shoe or the like having a toe region, an instep region, and a heel region comprises a body of resilient foot supporting material having an upper surface and a lower surface and a multiplicity of perforations extending therethrough, the perforations in the instep region and in the heel region being of large diameter relative to perforations in the toe region. A covering element disposed upon the upper surface of the body allows liquid to pass therethrough into the perforations which receive the liquid, e.g. perspiration, passing through the covering element and allow it to evaporate. A method of forming the footbed is also disclosed.
