ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A shoe sole lamination and method of lamination in which shoe sole portions composed of selected materials and low melting plastic inserts (13) are laminated and then heat embossed. The method includes use of insulating inserts (42) placed strategically in the mold to protect the plastic inserts (13) against the heat and temperatures of embossing.
