A shopping basket and child carrier cart assembly providing a stable and lower positioned child carrier. The assembly has a cart with a lower frame and a basket chamber, the frame having a plurality of front casters and a plurality of rear casters secured to the bottom of the frame adapted for mobility of the cart upon the casters. The basket has a central chamber defined by basket walls, with a hinged basket rear wall adapted to open to provide a rear opening for receiving a basket of a second cart for stacking such carts. The assembly has a child carrier with a generally horizontal seat platform secured to the cart by a brace member extending outward of the rear wall of the basket chamber, in a position below the rear opening. The assembly further provides an expanded wheel base length of the cart for the rear casters positioned below the child carrier, and provides a safety harness removably secured to the seat platform.
Cette invention concerne un chariot de marché à siège d'enfant intégré plus stable et permettant d'asseoir l'enfant plus bas qu'antérieurement. L'ensemble comprend un chariot ayant un bâti inférieur et un panier, le bâti inférieur étant équipé de plusieurs roulettes pivotantes avant et de plusieurs roulettes pivotantes arrière facilitant les manoeuvres. Le panier définit une enceinte centrale délimitée par des parois verticales dont une, la paroi arrière, est articulée par le haut pour permettre le gerbage d'une pluralité de chariots par l'arrière. L'ensemble comprend également un siège d'enfant à plate-forme généralement horizontale fixée au chariot par des bras se prolongeant à l'arrière du panier, immédiatement sous la paroi arrière articulée. L'ensemble se caractérise en outre par un empattement allongé, les roulettes arrière se trouvant sous le siège d'enfant équipé d'un harnais de sécurité assujetti de façon amovible à la plate-forme dudit siège.
