A shopping cart having integrated reinforced advertising display frames integrated in the side walls and/or front wall thereof or on the backrest of a baby seat compartment whereby to carry promotional material is described. These frames are integrally formed within the shopping cart basket walls whether fabricated from metal wire rods or injection molded plastics. They also provide for the placement and removal of advertising sheet material. The frames also may be provided with an anti-theft deterrent in the form of an insignia, logo or brand name permanently incorporated in the panel whereby to deter theft.
