Provided are a system and method for providing an information service for mobile devices, and a short message service gateway (120), comprising: a short message interfacing component (126,127) for receiving/sending short messages from/to outside of the short message service gateway (120); a short message service engine (121), responsive to a request for an information service included in a short message received by the short message interfacing component, for requesting the information service from at least one application server (110) and receiving a result of the information service, and then sending the result of the information service back to the short message interfacing component in the form of a short message.
Cette invention se rapporte à un système et à un procédé assurant un service d'information pour dispositifs mobiles, ainsi qu'à une passerelle (120) pour service d'envoi de messages courts, cette passerelle comprenant: un composant interface de messages courts (126, 127) destiné à recevoir/et à envoyer des messages courts à l'extérieur de la passerelle (120); un moteur (121) pour service d'envoi de messages courts, qui réagit à une demande de service d'information inclus dans un message court reçu par le composant interface de messages courts, pour solliciter le service d'information depuis au moins un serveur d'application (110) et recevoir un résultat du service d'information, et renvoyer ensuite le résultat du service d'information au composant interface de messages courts sous la forme d'un message court.
