The present invention relates to oligomer compounds (oligorners) of 12, 13 or 14 nucleotides in length, which target Hif1 alpha mRNA in a cell, leading to reduced expression of Hif1 alpha. Reduction of Hif 1 alpha expression is beneficial for the treatment of certain medical disorders, such as hyperproliferative disorders, such as cancer.
