A shower bath heat exchanger and trap incorporated into the waste line of the shower bath, utilising drainage water flowing through the trap unit, and in turn extracting and transferring heat from said drainage water into the incoming cold water supply. The heat transfer warms the cold water supply to be introduced into the shower or bath, thereby decreasing the amount of hot water supplied by the water heater and significantly reducing energy consumptions.

Le dispositif utilise l'eau évacuée qui passe dans le siphon, extrait et transfère à son tour la chaleur de l'eau évacuée vers l'alimentation en eau froide. Le transfert de chaleur permet de réchauffer l'alimentation en eau froide allant vers la douche ou la baignoire, ce qui permet de diminuer la quantité d'eau chaude fournie par le chauffe-eau et de réduire considérablement la consommation d'énergie.
