A shower system is provided having a body spray nozzle (24) supported by a carriage (52) that travels along tracks (48,50) in a shower tower housing (16). The carriage (52) includes wheeled components (60,62) piv-otably connected together and biased apart at one end by a spring (100). It also includes a brake (106) that is urged against a track (50) by the spring (100) to hold the body spray nozzle (24) at a given height. The brake (106) can be released by pulling the body spray nozzle (24) outwardly to compress the spring (100). The carriage (52) may then be slid vertically along the tracks (48,50) to move the body spray nozzle (24) to the desired height. Releasing the body spray nozzle (24) re-engages the brake (106), which holds the body spray nozzle (24) at the selected height.

L'invention concerne un système de douche pourvu d'un pommeau (24) pulvérisateur pour le corps soutenu par un chariot (52) pouvant se déplace le long de guides (48, 50) situés dans la structure (16) d'une colonne de douche. Ce chariot (52) comprends des éléments à roulettes (60, 62) reliés pivotants l'un à l'autre et écartés à une extrémité par un ressort (100). Le chariot comporte également un frein (106) pressé contre un guide (50) par le ressort (100) afin de maintenir le pommeau pulvérisateur (24) à une hauteur donnée. On peut relâcher le frein en tirant le pommeau pulvérisateur (24) vers l'extérieur afin de comprimer le ressort (100).
