ABSTRACT The invention relates to machinery which avoids the problems of public hygiene involved in the manual peeling of shrimps. It comprises a completely automated mechanical method and process for shelling shrimp meat extracted in complete and undamaged condition from boiled shrimp. The machine can comprise a plurality of adjoining processing tracks. The shrimp are peeled one by one, the operation being synchronized with respect to time, transferred separately in aligned position in the same direction.
