SHRIMP TRAP ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A shrimp trap comprising a first porous enclosure containing in its interior a second porous enclosure substantially smaller in volume than the first enclosure containing bait to attract shrimp, the first enclosure having at least one tapered entrance passageway through the enclosure with the large end of the passageway facing outwardly and the small end of the passageway facing inwardly, the small end being slightly larger than that required to admit the shrimp being trapped. The trap of this invention, when fashioned of wire screen material in the shape of a rectangular box is particularly useful.
