ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method of making an improved aerosol assembly is disclosed for an aerosol container having a container sealing bead disposed about an upper opening in the aerosol container. The method includes heating a sheet of heat sensitive plastic material and covering the surface of a mounting cup with it. Suction is then applied to secure the plastic material to the whole of the underside of the mounting cup to act as a sealing gasket to provide a fluid tight seal between the mounting cup and container. The method has advantages in its speed in providing a seal, in the quality of seal, in the protection given to the entire internal surface of the mounting cup. The resulting assembly is inexpensive in relation to previous assemblies.
