A locking assembly is provided to simply and effectively prevent any unintentional adjustment of the adjustable valve mechanism in a fluid flow control device, without compromising the function of the device. The locking assembly generally includes at least one gripping arm for frictionally engaging at least a portion of the adjustable valve mechanism, and an actuating mechanism for controlling the deployment and release of the gripping arm. The locking assembly prevents unintentional adjustments that can adversely affect the pressure settings of the fluid flow control device. In particular, the locking assembly prevents unintentional adjustment, such as may be caused by the presence of a strong external magnetic field. The locking assembly can be easily disengaged, such as through the application or removal of an external mechanical force, to allow a clinician to adjust the pressure settings of the fluid flow control device as necessary.

Un ensemble de verrouillage permet de simplifier et d'empêcher efficacement tout déréglage involontaire du mécanisme de soupape de dérivation dans un dispositif de régulation de l'écoulement d'un fluide, sans compromettre la fonction du dispositif. Cet ensemble de verrouillage comprend en général au moins un bras de préhension pour engager par friction au moins une partie du mécanisme de soupape réglable, et un mécanisme de manoeuvre pour commander le déploiement et la libération du bras de préhension. Ledit ensemble de verrouillage empêche des déréglages involontaires susceptibles d'influer sur les valeurs de pression du dispositif de régulation de l'écoulement du fluide. En particulier, l'ensemble de verrouillage empêche un déréglage involontaire, comme dans le cas de la présence d'un champ magnétique extérieur intense. L'ensemble de verrouillage peut être facilement désenclenché, comme par l'application ou le retrait d'une force mécanique extérieure, pour permettre à un technicien de régler au besoin les valeurs de pression du dispositif de régulation de l'écoulement du fluide.
