Compounds represented by formulae (I), (V) and (X), which are novel siastatin B derivatives having potent glycosidase inhibitory activities, are synthesized by a novel process. The compounds of the formulae (I), (V) and (X) have potent inhibitory activities on glycosidase enzymes, in particular, N- acetylgalactosaminidase, galactosidase, glucosidase and mannosidase.

L'invention concerne des composés représentés par les formules (I), (V) et (X), ces composés étant de nouveaux dérivés de la siastanine B présentant de puissantes activités inhibitrices de la glycosidase dont la synthèse est réalisée à l'aide d'un nouveau procédé. Les composés représentés par les formules (I), (V) et (X) possèdent de puissantes activités inhibitrices des enzymes glycosidase, en particulier, la N-acétylgalactosaminidase, la galactosidase, la glucosidase et la mannosidase.
