A bed is capable of allowing a patient to go away from the bed, take a bath, or go to a stool of his or her own will. The bed includes a bed frame having a plurality of comb teeth cushions provided with intervals therebetween in the longitudinal direction of the bed, and a separable frame having a plurality of comb teeth cushions in alternate relation to the comb teeth cushions on the bed frame. The separable frame includes a moving/lifting apparatus for moving the separable frame away from the bed frame to a wheelchair stand, a toilet stool, a bathtub, etc. which are installed beforehand away from the bed, while the patient is kept rested thereon.
