This invention entitled Side Carriage is a general purpose mounting and support platform which is gulled in the fashion of a trailer with the distinction that it follows a path parallel to the vehicle which pulls it and so can be made to accurately track a pre-marked line on the road surface. Such a carriage pulled in this manner has application as a mounting platform for lane paint spraying units and other functional units pertaining to roads and road surfaces and is the embodiment of the invention.
