ABSTRACT There is described in this application a roller-blind having a release-spring, one end of which is secured to an inner fixed rod. The other end of the release-spring is secured to a driving bush mounted rotatably upon the inner rod. Secured to the driving bush is roller-blind shaft. Secured in the driving bush, and rotatable therewith, is one end of a retaining and clamping spring surrounding the inner rod. The other end of the clamping spring is arranged in the path of the direction of extension of a drive- segment on a drive-disc, arranged in front of a drive-rib, on the driving bush and lying in the path of movement of the drive-segment. As a result of this, the release spring assists in the raising action of the side-drawing roller-blind.
