J. J. Cooper -13 SIDE-ENTRY TRANSFORMER CONNECTOR Abstract of the Disclosure: An electrical connector for connecting the conductors of power distribution cables to the secondary terminal of a power distribution system transformer. The connector in- cludes an elongated connector body having a fastener arrange- ment at one end thereof for mechanically and conductively engaging the threaded stud of the transformer secondary bushing. The body of the connector includes a plurality of conductor terminals on one side thereof. Each terminal includes a transversely extending slot for respectively receiving the conductors therein. Each slot is threaded in an advance direction which is transverse to the slot and to the axis of the conductor body. After the conductors are placed in the slots, by moving the conductors transversely of their re- spective axes, a fastener threadedly engages the threaded slot to clamp the conductor to the connector body. - 1 -
