Abstract of the Disclosure A side rail for trailer walls includes a vertical web having upper flanges providing a T-shaped configuration with an upper flat surface from which extends a vertical support wall offset with respect to the web of the side rail. The side rail is interchangeable in trailer wall constructions having either an outer post and sheathing design or an inner post and sheathing construc- tion and common underframe components.
