ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a sign routing machine which includes a temptate having a surface with indicia such as letters or numerals inscribed or otherwise formed thereon. There is also provided a template support such as a table and a link ember interconnecting the template surface to a workpiece surface. The link member includes routing means for engaging the workpiece surface and also means for engaging the indicia of the template surface. The link member is also provided with means whereby it is pivotally attached to the template surface so that the link member may be pivoted relative thereto. There is also provided a mounting frame for the link member which is movable upwardly or downwardly relative to the mounting frame so as to treat the workpiece surface at a plurality of different heights relative to the template surface. -1-
