ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A bandpass filter is provided having particular utility in a train vehicle signaling system. The electrical signal is applied to a piezoelectric transducer and a mechanical resonant device. The output voltage taken from a second piezoelectric transducer and a second mechanical resonant device. The two mechanical resonant devices are intercoupled physically and electrically and a DC current checks the integrity of the filter at all times.
