For the transmission of signals between a rotary component and a stationary component, especially between steering wheel (1) and steering column (2) or the like in a motor vehicle, a device is proposed in which the signal transmission is performed by means of a spirally wound conductor (5) enclosed in a bipartite housing (3, 4). To prevent the spirally wound conductor (5) from acting as a transmitter or receiver of noise interference, a light wave conductor (5) is to be used according to the invention as conductor.
