A warning device (1) associable to a dental seat is adapted for warning an operator (2) of a patient's request.The device comprises a warning box (12) provided with one or more switches (14), the pressure of which lights a portion (14) provided with an icon representing the patient's request on a display (22), visible to the patient. Upon the patient's confirmation, for example automatically after a predetermined time interval, sound emission means emit, in a predetermined language, a signal that can be interpreted by the operator or a voice message corresponding to the patient's request.The device allows communicating the request to the operator without distracting or interrupting him/her and without making sudden movements, besides without having the need of speaking, which is often denied during dental operations.

Selon l'invention, un dispositif avertisseur (1) pouvant être associé à un siège dentaire est conçu pour avertir un intervenant (2) de la demande d'un patient. Ce dispositif comprend un boîtier de signalisation (12) pourvu d'au moins un interrupteur (14), dont l'activation permet d'éclairer une partie (14) dotée d'un icone représentant la demande du patient sur un écran (22), visible par le patient. Suite à la confirmation du patient, par exemple, automatiquement après un intervalle de temps prédéterminé, un dispositif d'émission sonore permet d'émettre, dans un langage prédéterminé, un signal qui peut être interprété par l'intervenant ou un message vocale correspondant à la demande du patient. Ce dispositif permet de communiquer la demande à l'intervenant sans le distraire ou l'interrompre et sans lui faire faire des mouvements brusques, en plus du fait de ne pas avoir recours à la parole, ce qui est souvent interdit pendant une intervention dentaire.
