2108780 9220057 PCTABS00017 A sign support (10) comprises a rectangular sheet (12) of a plastic material, which has two fold lines (14, 16) permitting it to be folded to form a closed triangular-section support member. The support member is held closed by the engagement of tongues (38) along one side edge of the sheet (12) in slots (32) in the other side edge, and braced by upper and lower triangular bracing members (40). The members (40) have tongues (42) along each side, which engage in slots (24, 26) in the upper and lower edges of the sheet (12). Typically, the bracing members (40) also have central apertures (44) by which the sign support can be mounted on a lamp-post (54) or the like.
