The invention is a weed puller used for removing weeds and root stocks from the ground from a full standing position The weed puller consists of a handle which is operated by swinging or shifting back and forth. The handle is attached to the top of a shaft which extends downward and has attached several inches from the bottom a foot press which extends out to the side. The foot press is used to depress the blade of the device into the ground. A downward angled blade is attached to the bottom of the shaft and the end of the foot press, and consists of a forked end which is slightly sharpened and fits around the root stock to lift it from the ground with minimal disturbance to the surrounding lawn and soil. The invention is intended to allow users to remove the entire weed from the ground, preventing the weeds from regenerating from the same root stock. It is intended to prevent users from having to bend over, reach down or physically pull or dig weeds out of the ground.
