The present invention relates to a sound absorber comprising a housing having at least one inflow opening and at least one outflow opening and sound absorbing elements arranged within the housing, the sound absorbing elements being arranged between an entrance plane and an exit plane arranged substantially in parallel therewith, there being provided a plurality of gas guidance and baffle elements which are substantially in parallel with each other and are arranged at a lateral distance with respect to each other in two spaced-apart and parallel row-like arrangements, which have a U-shaped, V-shaped or semi-circular cross-section and are arranged such that the opened cross-sectional areas face each other in overlapping fashion, characterized in that the entrance plane and the exit plane are arranged such that they are inclined relative to the entrance flow within an angular range of < 90° to 0°.
L'invention concerne un silencieux avec un boîtier comportant au moins un orifice d'entrée et au moins un orifice de sortie ainsi que des éléments amortisseurs de bruit (2) disposés dans le boîtier entre un plan d'entrée (3) et un plan de sortie (4) sensiblement parallèle à ce plan d'entrée. Ce silencieux comprend plusieurs éléments de guidage du gaz et de déviation sensiblement parallèles entre eux qui sont disposés selon deux rangées latéralement espacées l'une de l'autre et parallèles, qui présentent une section en U, en V ou un demi-cercle et qui sont disposés de telle manière que les parties de section ouvertes soient orientées l'une vers l'autre et se recouvrent. Le silencieux est caractérisé en ce que le plan d'entrée (3) et le plan de sortie (4) sont inclinés selon un angle compris entre < 90 DEG et 0 DEG par rapport au flux d'entrée (5).
