ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION Novel hydrocarbon conversion catalysts and methods for their preparation and use are disclosed. The catalysts are particu- larly appropriate for the conversion of hydrocarbon feeds to high octane gasoline, while increasing light cycle oil and decreasing heavy cycle oil yield. The catalyst comprises a unique cogelled silica-alumina matrix.
