PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'une silice à reprise en eau inférieure à 4,5%, caractérisé en ce qu'on fait subir à une première silice de précipitation un traitement thermique à une température comprise entre 700°C et 950°C pendant un temps compris entre une et quinze minutes. L'invention concerne également les silices obtenues de ce procédé. Ces silices sont particulièrement aptes à être utilisées comme charges renforçantes dans les silicones.
