The invention relates to a ceramic heat element system in which an SiC ceramic heat element with an electric NTC behavior is provided for an electric circuit. Said electric circuit is provided with at least one segment whose resistance is saturated in an at least quasi-asymptotic manner by the current conduction required for a desired heat to be produced.
