The invention concerns a token (10') comprising a thermoplastic body (12') with parallel surfaces (13') and (14') and provided with a cavity (15') receiving a silicon chip identification device (16'). The cavity (15') comprises a front opening (17') wherein a solid-state deformable plastic plug or lid (19') is inserted, the plug being then welded to the wall of the cavity (15') with a combination of heat and pressure so as to close the cavity and completely incorporate the identification device (16'). The identification device (16') is capable of communicating without contact by RF waves with a reading station. The game token can be produced by one of two production methods, one being adapted to thermoplastic materials, the other to thermosetting materials.

Le jeton (10') présente un corps (12') en matière thermoplastique à faces parallèles (13' et 14') pourvu d'une cavité (15') recevant un dispositif d'identification (16') à puce électronique. La cavité (15') comporte une ouverture faciale (17') dans laquelle un bouchon ou couvercle (19') de matière plastique est inséré à l'état solide déformable, le bouchon étant ensuite soudé à la paroi de la cavité (15') par chauffage et pression combinés de façon à fermer la cavité et à intégrer complètement le dispositif d'identification (16'). Le dispositif d'identification (16') est susceptible de communiquer "sans contact" par ondes radiofréquence avec un poste de lecture. Le jeton de jeu est susceptible d'être fabriqué selon l'un des deux procédés de fabrication adaptés l'un aux matériaux thermoplastiques, l'autre aux matériaux thermodurcissables.
