Abstract of the Disclosure A product obtained by mixing vinyl-containing polydiorganosiloxane, an organohydrogenpolysiloxane, a silica filler treated with dimethyldichlorosilane, optionally diphenylsilanediol, and a platinum catalyst is useful for treating glass fiber and is an electrical insulting material. The cured product has excellent electrical characteristics, flame retardency, mechanical strength and transparency. The method of treating glass fiber articles is described.
