The present invention claims an organopolysiloxane compound having at least one group having the formula (see fig. I) wherein R3 is a divalent hydrocarbon group having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms, R5 and R6 are selected from a hydrogen atom or a group having the formula -(CnH2n+1) where n has a value from 1 to 30, R4 is selected from hydrogen atom, alkyl group or aryl group, d has a value from 0 to 150 and e has a value from 0 to 150, with the proviso that the value of d+e is greater than zero. These compounds reduce the amount of foam in hydrocarbon fuels, especially in diesel or jet fuels. Our organopolysiloxane compounds function as foam control agents which display consistent compatibility and miscibility with other fuel additives which are frequently present in hydrocarbon fuels.

I) dans laquelle R3 est un groupe hydrocarbure divalent ayant de 1 à 20 atomes de carbone, R5 et R6 sont soit un atome d»hydrogène, soit un groupe de formule -(CnH2n+1) où n a une valeur comprise entre 1 et 30, R4 est soit un atome d»hydrogène, soit un groupe alkyle ou aryle, d a une valeur comprise entre 0 et 150 et e, une valeur comprise entre 0 et 150, la somme d+e étant supérieure à zéro. Ces composés réduisent la quantité de mousse dans les carburants à base d»hydrocarbures, surtout dans le carburant diesel ou le carburéacteur. Nos composés à base d»organopolysiloxane sont utilisés comme agents antimousses à caractéristiques de compatibilité et de miscibilité uniformes avec d»autres additifs de carburant souvent présents dans les carburants à base d»hydrocarbures.
