The present invention is an organopolysiloxane compound having at least one group having the formula Image and at least one group having its formula selected from -R3-C6H5 or -R3-O-C6H5 per molecule, wherein R3 is a divalent hydrocarbon group having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms, R4 is hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or an acyl group, d has a value of 0 to 150, e has a value of 0 to 150, with the proviso that the value of d+e is at least one. These compounds reduce the amount of foam in hydrocarbon fuels, especially in diesel and jet fuels. Our organopolysiloxane compound functions as a foam control agent that displays consistent compatibility and miscibility with additives which are frequently present in hydrocarbon fuels.
