[0041] The present invention provides a stable silicone oil-in-water emulsion substantially free of any additives. The emulsions of the invention can be stable for at least about fifteen (15) and preferably for at least about thirty (30) minutes. The emulsions of the invention are useful for the siliconization of glass container surfaces.
