ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Silicone-containing compositions for treating textile materials are prepared by mixing particularly specified silylated polyethers with particularly specified silanol-terminated organopolysiloxanes in the presence, or in the absence of solvents and/or emulsifiers. These treating compositions may be applied as a solution or as a dispersion to textile substrate to impart a soft silky coating thereon. The textile textile so treated possess other beneficial properties, such as soft and durable hand, and either hydrophobic or hydrophilic characteristics depending on the type of silicone polymer employed.
