SILICONE RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR GASKETS Abstract Gaskets whose service entails regular or continuous contact with mineral oil-based lubricating oil comprise a silicone rubber composition of (A) organopolysiloxane having at least 2 silicon-bonded alkenyl groups in each molecule, (B) organohydrogenpolysiloxane having at least 2 silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms in each molecule,(C) platinum-type catalyst to 500 and (D) 1 to 80 weight parts oil selected from the group consisting of organopolysiloxane oil whose molecule lacks both aliphatically unsaturated bonds and silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms and hydrocarbon oil whose molecule lacks aliphatically unsaturated bonds. These gaskets exhibit excellent durability and low swelling even when subjected to regular or continuous contact with mineral oil-based lubricating oil.
