ANTIPERSPIRANT STICK ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A novel combination of powdered astrigents such as zirconium and aluminum salts suspended in a solid solu- tion of volatile silicones and long chain alcohols. The silicones and alcohols are brought into solid solution by mixing the components in liquid phase at temperatures not to exceed 150° F. (66° C.), The addition of the powdered astringent to the silicone oil and alcohol matrix prevents the separation of the components upon cooling.
