The described invention relates to the new compound "sucrose - octasulphate salified with silver" usefully applicable in the prevention and cure of infections by micro-organisms of bacterial, fungal, viral and/or yeast origins and in the promotion of tissue repair. The silver salts of sucrose octasulphate, subject of the invention have in fact been shown to possess antimicrobial activities even higher than that of known silver compounds. These properties therefore make them particularly suitable for use in different pathological or paraphysiological conditions of the skin, of the epithelia and of the mucosa both intact and lesioned.
L'invention concerne le nouveau composé <=saccharose-octasulfate à sels d argent>= applicable utilement dans la prévention et le traitement d'infections par des micro-organismes d'origine bactérienne, fongique, virale ou de levure et dans la stimulation de la réparation des tissus. Il a été démontré que les sels d'argent de saccharose-octosulfate, sujets de l'invention, possèdent des activités antimicrobiennes supérieures à celles de composés d'argent connus. Ces propriétés les rendent par conséquent particulièrement adaptés à une utilisation dans différents états pathologiques ou paraphysiologiques de la peau, de l'épithélium et de la muqueuse à la fois intacts et lésés.
