A precursor composition includes: (1) at least one cross-linking compound represented by formula (I) wherein: u and x are independently selected positive integers, v and w are independently selected integers greater than or equal to zero, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7 and R8 are independently selected from the group consisting of alkyl, aryl, alkylaryl, haloalkyl, haloaryl, and mixtures thereof; A and E are independently selected from the group consisting of O, an aliphatic bridge, an aryl bridge and mixtures thereof; and R9 and R10 are unsubstituted or substituted vinyl or ethynyl groups; (2) at least one organosilicon compound containing at least two silicon hybride moieties per molecule, and (3) a hydrosilation catalyst. A cross-linked polymer is formed by reacting the cross-linking compound of formula (I) with the organosilicon compound via a hydrosilation reaction. A thermoset polymer is formed by thermally curing the cross-linked polymer. A boron-carbon-silicon ceramic formed by pyrolyzing the cross-linked polymer.
L'invention concerne une composition-précurseur qui comprend: (1) au moins un composé de réticulation correspondant à la formule (I) dans laquelle u et x sont des nombres entiers positifs sélectionnés de façon indépendante, v et w sont des nombres entiers égaux ou supérieurs à zéro et sélectionnés de façon indépendante, R?1¿, R?2¿, R?3¿, R?4¿, R?5¿, R?6¿, R?7¿ et R?8¿ sont sélectionnés de façon indépendante dans le groupe comprenant alkyle, aryle, alkylaryle, haloalkyle, haloaryle et des mélanges de ceux-ci; A et E sont sélectionnés de façon indépendante dans le groupe comprenant O, un pont aliphatique, un pont aryle et leurs mélanges et; R?9¿ et R?10¿ sont des groupes vinyle ou éthynyle substitués ou non substitués; (2) au moins un composé organosilicié contenant au moins deux groupes fonctionnels d'hybride de silicium par molécule; et (3) un catalyseur d'hydrosilation. On forme un polymère réticulé au moyen d'une réaction d'hydrosilation du composé réticulé de la formule (I) et du composé organosilicié. On forme un polymère thermodurci par durcissement thermique du polymère réticulé. Enfin, on forme une matière céramique bore-carbone-silicium par pyrolyse du polymère réticulé.
