A moveable or relocatable structure for providing an optical effect includes casing and an apparatus for providing an optical effect mounted in the casing. The apparatus is preferably a flame effect fire. The apparatus is mounted in an aperture of the casing and a gap is defined between the apparatus and the casing front wall to define an air flow path for entry of air into the apparatus, for example to supply a heater. A frame is provided in front of the apparatus to shield the gap from the normal view of a user. The rame is spaced forwardly from the apparatus and the casing front wall to allow an air flow path between the frame and the casing front wall which communicates with the gap defined between the apparatus and the casing front wall.
L'invention concerne une structure mobile ou déplaçable permettant d'obtenir un effet optique et comprenant un boîtier et un appareil monté dans ce boîtier destiné à produire un effet optique. L'appareil est de préférence un simulateur de feu à effet de flamme. Cet appareil est monté dans une ouverture du boîtier et un espace est défini entre l'appareil et la paroi avant du boîtier, cet espace définissant un passage d'écoulement d'air permettant une entrée d'air dans l'appareil, notamment en vue de l'alimentation d'un dispositif de chauffage. Un cadre est utilisé à l'avant de l'appareil pour masquer l'espace de façon qu'un utilisateur ne puisse pas voir ce dernier. Le cadre est espacé vers l'avant par rapport à l'appareil et à la paroi avant du boîtier de sorte qu'un passage d'écoulement d'air soit formé entre le cadre et la paroi avant du boîtier, ce passage communiquant avec l'espace défini entre l'appareil et la paroi avant du boîtier.
