ABSTRACT A table top golf game incorporates a spring-loaded shooting device with a ball and selective target areas into which each competitor takes turns in aiming and shooting, in order to acquire a skill/chance score value by which to qualify each stroke of a simulated game of golf. However, the effect of any one score value varies with the nature of the course hole being played, such that a highly beneficial score value when playing a par three hole of the simulated course may prove to be an unfavourable score value on a par four, or a par five hole. Similarly, a hole in one, for which the game shooting device makes provision, comprises the most favourable achievement on a par three hole; but in the case of a par five hole it comprises an unfavourable achievement, and represents a lost ball, thus requiring an additional "stroke" on the shooting device. The game includes par three, par 4 and par 5 cards which define progress by each shot towards and on the green. The game further provides a score keeping indicator for each player, and includes a pictorial representation of a golf course, with indicators for use by each of the competitors indicating their respective instantaneous condition in "going around the course".
