SINGLE-BLOW PNEUMATIC PERCUSSIVE TOOL Abstract A single-blow pneumatic percussive tool comprising a hollow cylindrical casing having inlet and outlet ports. A hammer piston mounted in the casing divides the interior space of the casing into lower and upper chambers. A work- ing tool is mounted in the casing on the side of the lower chamber. A handle having passages and an air distribution device is mounted in the upper part of the casing. A sleeve with ports is mounted on the casing to define a space therewith. An air distribution sleeve which is axially bias- ed by a spring is mounted in the space. The outlet ports of the casings are aligned with the ports of the sleeve.The air distribution sleeve has radial ports and recesses which are aligned with the radial ports on both surfaces of the air distribution sleeve. At least one passage is made in the hammer piston which is biased by spring on the side of the lower chamber.
